What stands out

  • At 3 years the Ford Transit fails 18.2% of MOTs (8,111 tests), 6.1 points above the 12.1% for all cars that age. At 25 years it fails 35.6% (3,803 tests), about the same as the 36.3% average.
  • The gap is widest at 12 years: 12.1 points above all cars.
  • Its most common structural or mechanical fail item at 8 years: Driveshaft CV boot split, at 9.9 per 100 MOTs.
