What can go wrong

On certain vehicles an external ingress of fluids into the glow plug output stage may occur under specific conditions potentially resulting in an electrical short circuit and overheating of the component.

The fix

Replace the glow plug relay and install an additional glow plug relay cover on the affected vehicles.
