What can go wrong
The protectors for the front brake hoses may have been fitted incorrectly which could in the most serious case lead to a reduction in braking efficiency. If there is leakage of brake fluid the warning lamp will illuminate and more effort will have to be applied to the brakes to stop in good time. Additionally there is a possibility that brake fluid may leak from the rear brake cylinders with the same effects as above.
The fix
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check the front brake hoses and protectors. Where necessary reposition or replace the protectors and brake hoses. Replace the fixing dome caps that retain the rear brake shoes to the back plate.

Recall wording is DVSA's, with capitals and punctuation tidied and American spellings such as tire, center and windshield given in British English. On this page we also replaced a word that reads as a rating or an endorsement with a plain one. We list a recall when its make and model match a car or van family with at least 1,000 DVSA MOT tests from 2022 to 2025, and when the maker of the vehicle issued it.
