What stands out

  • At 11 years the Renault Modus fails 44.9% of MOTs (1,536 tests), 11.7 points above the 33.3% for all cars that age. At 20 years it fails 51.4% (2,431 tests), 8.6 points above the 42.8% average.
  • The gap is widest at 11 years: 11.7 points above all cars.
  • Its most common structural or mechanical fail item at 17 years: Coil spring broken, at 11.8 per 100 MOTs.
