Daily charges by band
Unlike the London ULEZ, a car that meets the Euro standard still pays here. Only zero emission cars pay nothing.
| Band | Who it covers | A day |
|---|---|---|
| Zero emission | 0 g/km CO2 | £0 |
| Ultra low emission | less than 75 g/km CO2 | £2 |
| Low emission | Euro 4 petrol / Euro 6 diesel | £4 |
| Other cars | anything else | £10 |
Which cars generally meet the Oxford Zero Emission Zone standard
Here the Euro standard decides between the low emission band and the higher one. By first-use date, petrol cars from 1 January 2006 and diesel cars from 1 September 2015 generally meet it, and electric cars always do. A car may have met it earlier: it is decided for each car, from the Euro standard on its V5C. The full rule table and every model by make.
