What can go wrong
It has been identified that the rear brake back plate bolts may not have been tightened to the specified torque. Should a back plate bolt fall into the brake drum damage to the brake linings and or wheel lockup could occur.
The fix
Recalled vehicles will have the rear brake back plate bolts checked to ensure that they have been tightened to the specified torque.
