What can go wrong
Due to insufficient strength of the rear axle drive shaft flange a fracture might develop under certain driving conditions. In the most serious case the flange may become detached causing the vehicle to become immobilised.
The fix
Recalled vehicles will have the right and left hand rear axle drive shafts replaced.
