What stands out

  • At 10 years the Honda Insight fails 22.5% of MOTs (2,401 tests), 7.8 points below the 30.3% for all cars that age. At 16 years it fails 34.0% (2,058 tests), 8.5 points below the 42.6% average.
  • The gap is widest at 13 years: 8.8 points below all cars.
  • Its most common structural or mechanical fail item at 13 years: Linkage ball joint dust cover: ball joint dust cover no longer prevents the ingress of dirt, at 1.9 per 100 MOTs.
