What can go wrong
On affected vehicles during freezing temperatures or below the windscreen wipers may become inoperative. In other cases the windscreen wipers may operate only at the high-speed setting and an inoperative windscreen washer system may prevent washer fluid from being effectively used to clean the windscreen.
The fix
Inspect the windscreen wiper system and replace the wiper motor if necessary.
