Recall data updated
What can go wrong
An incorrect surface treatment on the fuel filter collar may lead to breakage of the diesel filter strap resulting in vibration and noise from the engine compartment. In the case of any mechanical pulses when driving with a broken strap or as a consequence of an accident this could result in breakage of the fuel pipes with subsequent leakage.
The fix
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the diesel filter strap.
