What can go wrong

The electronic shift lever on about 210000 of the above vehicles may allow a roll away condition if the vehicle’s engine is left running the parking brake is not engaged and the transmission is not in the ‘PARK’ position before exiting the vehicle.

The fix

On affected vehicles new software will be installed which includes an ‘Auto Park’ feature. A handbook addendum leaflet will also be provided.
