What can go wrong
In the event the radiator cooling fan is blocked there is a risk that an electrical short circuit can occur. This in turn causes damage to the cooling fan module and in the most serious case could potentially result in a vehicle fire.
The fix
On affected vehicles check for presence of and if necessary remove battery cover. Ensure that the radiator cooling fan is not obstructed or blocked in anyway. Fit new additional wiring harness which will prevent damage to the radiator wiring harness.

Recall wording is DVSA's, with capitals and punctuation tidied and American spellings such as tire, center and windshield given in British English. On this page we also replaced a word that reads as a rating or an endorsement with a plain one. We list a recall when its make and model match a car or van family with at least 1,000 DVSA MOT tests from 2022 to 2025, and when the maker of the vehicle issued it.
