Nissan Note recall: Drivers airbag may rupture if deployed

What can go wrong
In the event of driver’s airbag deployment the internal pressure of inflator may increase abnormally and in an extreme case cause the driver’s airbag inflator casing to rupture. In an extreme case this may cause a scattering of metal fragments.
The fix
Owners will be advised that their vehicle is affected by the recall and will be contacted again when parts are available and the driver's air bag will be replaced.
