Mercedes-Benz GLE recall: Windscreen wipers may fail

What can go wrong
Cabling may have been incorrectly routed and the wiper linkage could chafe the cabling causing a short circuit. If this happens the wiper motor could become inoperative.
The fix
On affected vehicles check cabling. Either rework or replace cabling as required.
