What can go wrong
On affected vehicles the engine may crank by itself and run for a short period when the ignition key has been left in the ignition barrel in ‘OFF’ position. This is due to abnormal wear of key cylinder trigger. If in gear the vehicle may move unintentionally
The fix
Replace the ignition key cylinder on affected vehicles
