Toyota Aygo recall: Directional control may be lost

What can go wrong
On subject vehicles there is a possibility that a wld on the rear axle may not be sufficient. In the most serious case this could cause a break in connection between rear axle and the body. This could cause difficulty in controlling the vehicle.
The fix
Owners of subject vehicles to be contacted by first class post (using DVLA records). Inspect subject vehicles and if fault found replace rear axle.
