What can go wrong

The affected vehicles windscreen may not be fully bonded in to the aperture. Where the windscreen is not bonded water ingress might occur and there may be reports of increased wind noise. Furthermore this concern may also be a non-compliance with the regulatory requirements of FMVSS 212 or FMVSS 216 Windscreen Mounting.

The fix

Approved Service Centre will remove and replace the windscreen with the correct bonding agent in line with existing service repair procedures.

Is a specific car affected? A recall lists models and build dates, not individual vehicles, so these pages cannot tell you whether one car is included. Enter the registration on the DVSA vehicle recall checker on GOV.UK, or give the vehicle identification number (VIN) to the manufacturer or one of its dealers. Buying used? Ask the seller for proof that any recall work was done.
